To work in the US, you need to apply for a Employment Authorization Document (EAD).
There are different types of visas. An exchange visitor visa (J) is a work and study-based visa for people to experience life in the US before returning home. These include camp counselors, college students, interns, physicians, professors, and teachers.
Temporary work visas include H-2B (non-agricultural fields) and include jobs at resorts, hotels, or amusement parks.
The temporary H-1B include specialized occupations.
Seasonal Agricultural Worker (H2-A) visas are available for foreign agricultural workers.
