6. Personal Care Aide
Similar to home health care aides, personal care aides generally provide companionship and assistance to people who need extra help. You generally don’t provide basic health care. Depending on the client, you might help with hygiene care, cook, play cards or read to them.
As with home health care aide, make sure there is a clear written understanding of the hours and duties. These jobs have a fair amount of abuse toward workers and keeping everything in writing should help protect you.
